Healy the Two Mile House hero
Healy’s brilliant third minute goal gave his team the ideal start as they moved 1-3 to 0-0 lead by the eighth minute but Louth side Hunsterstown came back into the game in fine style. They got back to within a point with the help of a 28th minute goal by Richie Taafe but the Kildare team rallied with two injury time points and led 1-7 to 1-4 at the break.
Hunsterstown began the second half as Two Mile House had the first and took the lead for the first time when Brendan Lennon pointed in the 38th minute.
