Dowling urges fans to get behind Treaty duo
The duo were ratified at last night’s county board meeting which sees O’Grady return to the post that he left in 2011. Limerick’s last three hurling managers have now been Cork natives but Dowling firmly believes that this won’t an issue for the playing squad, nor should it be for the supporters.
“I’ve always believed that if you could get someone in from your own county, it’s great. But at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter too much. Last year John Allen showed as much passion as any Limerick person would.”
