Walsh and Sheehan undecided on hurling future

Suggestions that Cork footballers Aidan Walsh and Ciarán Sheehan will both definitely play hurling for the county next year are wide of the mark, the pair have confirmed.

There has been speculation Walsh and Sheehan are in line to become dual inter-county players in 2014 — and even rumours the pair had taken part in training matches before last month’s All-Ireland final and replay.

Walsh — currently on a break from his PE and biology course in DCU — said yesterday that, while it is something he might consider, he will not do so until a new football manager is appointed.
