I fancy Clare to win on Saturday, but do I think they have an advantage going into game, not really. They will have gained more confidence from the drawn game, they will have realised how good they are and their potential. I don’t think it will rankle with them that they played so well the last day but didn’t come away with the goods. I also don’t think Cork are in any way psychologically advantaged from having played so poorly and to still have got a second chance. Really, they weren’t allowed to play.
