Premier hurling roles for Cahill and Connolly

Ballingarry’s Liam Cahill was last night appointed as the new manager of the Tipperary minor hurling team while TJ Connolly (Cashel King Cormacs) will take over as manager of the county’s U21 team.

Both were ratified at a meeting of the County Board last night, with Cahill taking over from William Maher and Connolly replacing the outgoing Ken Hogan.

Both Maher’s and Hogan’s backroom teams also stepped down.
