Owens to referee Cork-Dublin

Wexford’s James Owens take charge of Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final between Cork and Dublin in Croke Park.

Tipperary native Johnny Ryan will be the man in the middle the following Sunday when Limerick and Clare meet.

Heavily criticised referees Barry Kelly and James McGrath may yet be considered for the All-Ireland final. However, it is uncommon that a referee is appointed for two All-Ireland deciders in a row.
