Limerick lose out again

Limerick’s Division 1B defeat by Dublin won’t be revisited despite the question of Paul Ryan’s eligibility in the game.

The GAA’s management committee heard last Friday that the match bans, which had been incorrectly, albeit unknowingly administered during both National League competitions, were handed down in good faith by the Central Competitions Control Committee and nothing more will come of the matter.

Limerick had written to Croke Park seeking clarification on the legitimacy of the player’s involvement in the game, while careful not to blame Dublin.
