Cummins warns of yellow peril

Brendan Cummins believes hurling referees have been getting stricter in recent league games.

The decorated veteran Tipperary goalkeeper believes match officials have been quicker to issue yellow cards to players.

“They are trying, I think, to tighten the rules on hurling up a bit,” he told Today FM’s Ray Darcy Show yesterday.
