Nestor apologises for naked pose with Sigerson Cup

DIT footballer Alan Nestor has apologised for posing naked with the Sigerson Cup following their weekend final triumph over UCC.

A picture of Nestor posing with the trophy went viral on the internet following their historic first title at Athlone IT on Saturday.

However, GAA chiefs were unimpressed with the images, admitting Nestor could be accused of bringing the association into disrepute.
