Murphy questions wisdom of GAA rule

All-Ireland-winning captain Michael Murphy admits he is “disappointed” with the news that housemate Aidan Walsh and Donegal team-mate Michael Boyle have been ruled ineligible to play Sigerson Cup for DCU.

“It’s a tricky issue,” said Murphy, who has led the university back to the semi-finals this year.

“In Gaelic football and sport in general we are trying to really promote it.
