Sheehan and Maher reunite at midfield for the first time since last August’s All-Ireland SFC quarter-final defeat to Donegal, replacing Kieran Donaghy and Johnny Buckley while O’Mahony is at full-back in place of Michael Moloney. Kerry’s other changes see Brian Kelly, who played in the first game against IT Tralee, come back into goal for Brendan Kealy while James O’Donoghue replaces Kieran O’Leary in attack. Limerick have made three changes — Michael Sheahan, Dara Treacy and Derry O'Connor all start with Mark Riordan, James O'Meara and the injured Ger Collins missing out.
Dublin have recalled some of their big guns for the O’Byrne Cup semi-final with Louth in Drogheda. Stephen Cluxton, Ger Brennan, Denis Bastick, Diarmuid Connolly and Bernard Brogan return.
