Refs chief McEnaney rubbishes criticism of yellow card plan
The Monaghan man believes the proposal, which would see a playerreplaced by a substitute on earning a yellow card from 2014 on, will go a long way to dealing with cynical and systematic fouling plaguing the game.
Any player who picks up three yellow cards over one season will face a two-game suspension, while any team who earn more than three yellow cards in a game won’t be able toreplace any other similarly punished players.
