Déise star Mullane mulls over inter-county future

Waterford hurler John Mullane has revealed he is considering calling time on his inter-county career.

Speaking to the Irish Examiner, Mullane, who turns 32 next month, said he won’t stay on unless he feels he can commit 100% to the task.

“I’ll enjoy Christmas with the family, chill out, but I’m going to sit down over the holidays with (Waterford manager) Michael Ryan and discuss my future over a cup of coffee, make the call on it,’’ Mullane said.
