McGrath: Favourites tag did us no favours

De La Salle boss Derek McGrath admitted yesterday his side might “operate better with the pressure on us”.

Though his men had just enjoyed a 12-point final win over Dungarvan , McGrath admitted the tag of favourites had not helped his side.

“It was a burden to a certain extent. I think we operate better when the pressure is on us.
