Griffin plans charity tournament
The event is being organised by Griffin in aid of the Tit Bonhomme Tragedy fund, which occurred in Union Hall, Cork, earlier this year.
With eight teams competing, games will last 30 minutes with each 13-man side guaranteed two games.
Dingle have been drawn to take on neighbours An Ghaeltacht in thequarter-finals while St Brendan’s take on Colaiste Eoin. Tralee face a Cork outfit while a West Kerry side are pitted against a combined team.
Among those set to take part are Dara Ó Cinnéide, Darragh Ó Sé, Diarmuid Murphy, Padraic Joyce, Glenn Ryan, Anthony Rainbow, Killian Burns, Coman Goggins and Mike Hassett. A number of celebrity referees are also expected to lend support.
