Daly: Dubs couldn’t be worse

Anthony Daly (pictured, left) said he couldn’t imagine Dublin being any worse than they were against Kilkenny on Saturday.

“I won’t take anything away from Kilkenny — they played up to their normal standard. But if we had gathered up 20 at the Red Cow (hotel) this morning and come down they’d hardly have been worse.

“We looked Thursday night as if we were as sharp as lightning. Obviously, it’s something between our ears, some psychological block whatever it is. No, we never got out of the blocks at all.”
