McGill: CCCC to review Croker league semi-finals

The GAA will review staging Allianz Football League Division 1 semi-finals at Croke Park.

Association director of player welfare and games administration, Feargal McGill, confirmed the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) will re-examine the decision, after Sunday’s poor 11,342 attendance.

He hasn’t ruled out awarding home advantage for the semi-finals to the teams who finish first and second in the league proper, a move which wouldn’t require Congress backing.
