EOIN BROSNAN is expected to be fit for Sunday’s All-Ireland final despite rolling his ankle in a training game on Friday.

The Kerry centre-back was on crutches following the incident and visited the closest cryotherapy unit in Ennis to accelerate the recovery. Although the feeling in the camp is Brosnan will be fine to start, Jack O’Connor admitted he was worried by the setback.

“He went over on his ankle, which of course is a bit of a concern,” said O’Connor. “He’ll be getting treatment from here to the weekend and see if he can get it sorted.”
