DONAL O’GRADY has quashed suggestions that a two-year extension of his management deal in Limerick was ever on the table.

The Cork native, who has just stepped down as Limerick hurling manager, also added he has no interest in the position of secretary of the Cork County Board and is not inclined to return to inter-county management at the moment.

“I was the most surprised man in Ireland to hear about that (two-year extension),” said O’Grady yesterday.
