Cork take next step in search for hurling boss

CORK club delegates will decide at tonight’s board meeting the make-up of the committee to select the county’s next senior hurling manager.

A total of 22 proposals have been submitted to the board executive by clubs from around the county and then redistributed to each club for consideration.

However, due to the similarity between a number of motions, it is not expected that each of them will be individually debated at tonight’s meeting, with board PRO Ger Lane predicting some of them will be amalgamated into one proposal.
