Lynch may have suffered cruciate ligament injury

HUGH LYNCH may have injured his cruciate ligament, Kieran McGeeney revealed on Saturday night.

Lynch may have suffered cruciate ligament injury

“He seems to have a ruptured lateral ligament. There is possible things over the cruciate, we’ll have to wait and see,” said the Kildare manager.

McGeeney is at a loss to explain why so many of his players, such as Michael Conway, Dermot Earley, Peter Kelly and now possibly Lynch, have picked up the knee injury.

“It’s hard to know, it’s a contact injury – just somebody went to block Hughie the other night. Just two big fellas blocking each other that’s what happened.”
