Wexford goal threat worries Brogan

BERNARD BROGAN says Dublin must put an end to Wexford’s goal rush in Sunday’s Leinster final.

The Dubs are no strangers to rattling the net and much has been made of the fact they have scored 32 goals in their 14 competitive matches in 2011 while in the championship, they have scored a goal in both wins over Laois and Kildare.

Wexford however, have amassed a staggering 7-52 in their three-match run to the Leinster final following big wins over Offaly, Westmeath and Carlow. And Brogan warns that curbing the Model’s firepower will be crucial.
