Harte ‘doubtful’ on Red Hand hopes

TYRONE manager Mickey Harte remarkably admitted it is “highly doubtful” his team will win this year’s All-Ireland SFC.

Speaking at the launch of Eircom’s associate sponsorship of the All-Ireland SFC yesterday, the three-time All-Ireland winning boss also wrote off the chances of the Division 3 and 4 counties lifting the Sam Maguire Cup this September.

He claimed Tyrone and the rest of this season’s Division 2 teams’ All-Ireland hopes are seriously handicapped by not being in the top flight.
