O’Leary given four-week ban for Keane altercation

CORK footballer Noel O’Leary, pictured, has been handed a four-weeks ban for his involvement in an altercation with Kerry’s Barry John Keane in last weekend’s Allianz Football League opener in Tralee.

It had been feared the wing-back could suffer a similar fate to Keane who was given an eight-week suspension, which he won’t appeal. But O’Leary will only miss Cork’s two top flight games against Dublin and Monaghan, returning in time for the visit of Down on March 12.
