LAST year’s footballer of the year Bernard Brogan has called on the GAA to allow county teams pick their own two-month close season.

The Dublin forward believes the suggestion is a much better one than the status quo, a one-size-fits-all moratorium on inter-county activity in November and December.

“I know some of the managers said they could take a two-month break but pick the two months at the their own will,” said Brogan, at the press conference to promote the ‘Kinect Sports’ game on Kinect for Xbox 360.
