Crossmaglen boxing clever
“We had a bit of a session and it was very good,” Rangers’ full-forward Michael McNamee told Ulster GAA weekly magazine, Gaelic Life. “To be honest, it was more to get everyone’s heads right.
“It wasn’t so much the training we did, it’s the mental side and what he (Walsh) brings to it.
“We had a few team-building exercises, that’s what the session was designed around and it worked well.”
Meanwhile, McNamee has claimed team-mate Jamie Clarke is only going to get better.
“Jamie is only really getting started,” he said. “He’s a very laid-back individual and he doesn’t take himself that seriously, which is a good thing for him.
“He’s seriously talented, frighteningly so.
“Very skilful, very fast, and deceptively strong. He’s about 6ft 1in and he has good hands and two good feet. If he gets good ball in, it would be very difficult for anyone to hold him - and I’ve yet to see it.”
