KILMACUD CROKES manager Paddy Carr has backed calls for a postponement of the AIB Leinster club football and hurling finals until the New Year.

O’Loughlin Gaels boss Mick Nolan has already called for the hurling decider to be put back until the New Year after it was cancelled for a second time.

And Crokes manager Carr would be in favour of the football final to be deferred also as the club’s Dublin players are now faced with the prospect of missing out on the county team’s holiday to Dubai.
