Seán Óg to face Aussies

SEÁN Óg O hAilpín is set to be involved tomorrow night with the Cork colleges selection who face Australia at Páirc Uí Rinn in an unofficial test ahead of Saturday’s International Rules test at the Gaelic Grounds.

O hAilpín, who announced yesterday that his 14-year inter-county hurling career had come to an end, has been of major assistance to coaches Des Cullinane and Keith Ricken in their squad preparations with his knowledge of Aussie Rules.

O hAilpín previously lined out for Ireland in the International Rules in 2004.
