Words from the Foxy Devil by Joe Dolan (the Galwegian version, as opposed to Westmeath’s finest) on man’s relationship with the demon whiskey, but they could be applied to the hurlers and supporters of Erin’s Own and Sarsfields, neighbouring east Cork clubs who meet tomorrow afternoon in Páirc Uí Chaoimh in the first semi-final of this year’s Cork senior hurling championship.
