Farrell: Club delegates hold key to Limerick crisis

PLAYERS chief Dessie Farrell says Limerick club delegates are now the power brokers in the county’s hurling crisis.

Manager Justin McCarthy will again lead an understrength side into Allianz NHL battle tomorrow night when they face Cork in the second round of their Division 1 campaign.

After a winter of discontent that saw the withdrawal of virtually his entire 2009 panel, it may have surprised some that McCarthy still has the job.
