Cork management taking steps to prevent swine flu

SIMILAR to their All-Ireland final opponents Kerry, the Cork football management have taken precautions against the threat of swine flu ahead of Sunday week’s Croke Park showdown.

The Cork squad were briefed about the disease by team doctor Con Murphy before their All-Ireland semi-final clash with Tyrone.

“Dr Con advised the players on what steps they needed to take to avoid swine flu before the Tyrone match,” stated board PRO Ger Lane last night.
