Miskella in final worry

CORK defender John Miskella faces an anxious wait to discover if he faces sanctions which could rule him out of next month’s All-Ireland final.

GAA disciplinary chiefs may opt to review footage of Miskella’s clash with Tyrone’s Brian McGuigan in the second half of yesterday’s All-Ireland SFC semi-final.

RTÉ cameras caught the Ballincollig man striking McGuigan. Referee John Bannon consulted with one of his umpires and showed the Cork defender a yellow card.
