Bradley: We’ll be back

AS the game wound down yesterday one journalist turned to his son, who was wearing an Antrim jersey and was sitting next to him in the press box, and told him that this was a moral victory.

He repeated it a number of times, to other journalists and anyone passing by wearing a semblance of saffron. You couldn’t begrudge him his opinion but it wasn’t one Liam Bradley shared.

Antrim may have claimed back-to-back championship victories for the first time in eons and given their fans a long overdue day in the Clones sun but the Derry man wasn’t in the mood for looking on the bright side.
