Kavanagh hoping for a new beginning for Donegal

Kavanagh hoping for a new beginning for Donegal

Donegal has never been shy of airing its dirty linen in public and that was taken to a new extreme last October when the race for the vacant manager’s chair descended into farce and recrimination.

John Joe Doherty wanted it. So too did the joint ticket of Charlie Mulgrew and Declan Bonner, but what should have been a straightforward case of ‘either or’ descended into a farcical circus. It was a new low, even for Donegal.
