Two new faces for Kingdom as Reidy and O’Shea set for Donegal clash

GER REIDY of Castleisland Desmonds and Aidan O’Shea from the Glenbeigh-Glencarr club are the two new faces on the Kerry team to play Donegal in the opening round of the Allianz NFL at Austin Park, Tralee tomorrow.

Reidy takes over in goal from Diarmuid Murphy with O’Shea, a son of the legendary Jacko and scorer of Mid-Kerry’s matchwinning goal from the penalty spot in the county final replay, named at left half back.

Apart from Murphy, six other members of the team that lost to Tyrone in the All-Ireland final miss out: Tom O’Sullivan, Tomás Ó Sé, Dara Ó Sé, Eoin Brosnan, Brian Sheehan and Kevin Donaghy.
