DERRY star Paddy Bradley, enjoying an extended stay in Australia following the International Rule Series, has backed the GAA ban on collective training in November and December.

He said “It’s great. It gives county players a break, although some teams are probably doing a wee bit trying to sneak in under the radar.”

Flown up from Sydney by All Stars sponsors Vodafone to take his place in the 2007 team, Bradley returns to Australia tomorrow where he plans to holiday with some clubmates until February. However, he may return home earlier than then.
