‘Seeds of doubt must be creeping into minds of Kerry after today’

CORK coach Conor Counihan felt it was his side’s character and commitment to the cause which earned them a second bite of the cherry in Croke Park yesterday.

“These lads have taken a lot of punishment from Kerry over the last number of years,’’ said Counihan.

“There were times out there today when they were on top of us, that we could have folded up the tent and capitulated again, but we display tremendous character in not throwing in the towel and that has to count for something.
