Earley to take interim charge of Rossies
The former Roscommon footballer won two Connacht SFC medals and was named an All Star in 1985.
A statement issued by the Roscommon County Board said: “Paul is well known in coaching circles and has worked with club and county squads as a coach. Paul’s appointment is for Roscommon’s remaining National Football League fixtures against Dublin on Saturday next and the match v Cavan on Sunday week. The selectors to assist Paul will be announced prior to Saturday’s night’s fixture against Dublin.”
Meanwhile it has emerged that treasurer Larry Brennan last night resigned from his position over the Board’s handling of the situation.
