We can bounce back, says Coyle

MEATH manager Colm Coyle offered no excuses for his side’s 10 point defeat at the hands of Cork other than to say they were beaten by a far better team.

“We can have no complaints about the result. Cork were well up for this game and more than deserved their victory,” said the Meath boss who graciously fielded questions from the media.

“It’s a chastening lesson and it remains to be seen if we can bounce back. Meath have come a long way this season. Today was a learning experience for a lot our young players and if they can take the positives from it, they’ll be all the better for it.
