O’Shea: bad miss not good defending

IT was fitting that a Killarney man helped guide Kerry to their first Munster SFC final victory over Cork at Fitzgerald Stadium in 21 years.

Pat O’Shea grew up in the shadows of this great stadium and as a child dreamed of emulating his heroes in the green and gold.

Yesterday he became one himself as he managed Kerry to victory over the Munster champions in his debut year.
