CORK Chairman Mick Dolan has likened Gaelic football to “schoolyard play” and called on GAA chiefs to introduce rule changes to make it more attractive to the public.

Addressing delegates at the weekend convention, he said action needed to be taken urgently to address the issue.

Said Dolan: “A curb on the amount of hand passing and running is essential because it leads to much fouling and crash tackling to stop players.
