Reduced tickets for championship double-header

THE Cork County Board has reduced admission charges to next Sunday’s championship double header at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Following the abandonment of the SHC semi-final between Cloyne and Newtownshandrum 10 minutes into the match, the board looked to compensate patrons, many of whom had paid €13 into the covered stand for two semi-finals.

The new charge is €10 all round, which, according to board PRO Bob Ryan would be the normal admission charge to one senior championship semi-final.
