MacGearailt to miss Mayo clash

KERRY attacker Aodán MacGearailt is out of contention for the All-Ireland SFC final against Mayo after damaging his hand in training.

He is understood to have damaged or broken a bone in his hand at training on Saturday, continuing his cursed luck with injury in recent times.

MacGearailt has fallen down the pecking order this year, but was still a viable attacking option for the Kerry selectors, ahead of their September 17 date with the Connacht champions.
