Cork-Kerry clash to stay at Croker

DESPITE suggestions by former president Sean Kelly that the SFC All-Ireland semi-final between Kerry and Cork should be played outside Croke Park, GAA PRO Danny Lynch has confirmed the game will be played at headquarters on August 20.

“All-Ireland semi-finals and finals are the property of the association and as such, Croke Park is the appropriate venue for those games. Tradition also dictates that they be played there,” he said.

“It’s every player’s dream to play in Croke Park and if you deny them the right, it would not be very popular decision.
