Kelly happy to mix his drinks

EOIN KELLY denied that there was any conflict of interest in accepting a GPA player of the month award in Dublin yesterday.

While the GPA has its own commercial link with Club Energise, the star Tipperary forward has endorsed the rival Lucozade Sport product.

Kerry’s Colm Cooper resigned his membership of the players body when he agreed to endorse the Lucozade brand but Kelly was perfectly happy to accept the hurling award for May after his breathtaking start to the championship campaign.
