GAA stars answer counties’ call

A STRING of top inter-county GAA players have answered their county’s call in a new Club Energise TV advertisement. The ad, entitled The Call, was revealed for the first time at a press briefing in Dublin yesterday.

The ad was filmed in early March featuring 10 top GAA players from both hurling and football. Those who feature in the ad include Cork hurler Jerry O’Connor and Kerry’s Tomas Ó Sé.

The players involved are all members of the Gaelic Players Association in line with the GPA’s commercial partnership with Club Energise.

Filming for the latest ad took place over a two-day period in March in Dublin’s docklands. The ad is set to hit TV tomorrow evening while an extensive billboard and radio advertising campaign will complement it.

Players who appear in the ad are John Doyle (Kildare), Aaron Kernan (Armagh), Sean Cavanagh (Tyrone), Bryan Cullen (Dublin), David Heaney (Mayo), Tomas Ó Sé (Kerry), Jerry O’Connor (Cork), Noel Hickey (Kilkenny), Niall Gilligan (Clare) and David Collins (Galway).
