THE Cork senior football coach for the coming year will have the right to name his own selectors.

The decision was taken at last night's county board meeting at Páirc Uí Caoimh when deleates voted overwhelmingly in favour of a notice of motion from Beara delegate Mick Reynolds granting the new coach power to appoint his own management team.

The motion required a two thirds majority and when the show of hands surfaced, county board chairman Jim Forbes ruled there was no need for a count.
