THE relief on the faces of the An Ghaeltacht players at the end of yesterday’s AIB Munster Club SFC final was very evident.

Not for the first time this year they failed to kill off the opposition when they had the chance and left themselves vulnerable to a last minute goal that would have won it for the Clare champions.

“It was the same old story,” said a relieved Dara Ó Cinnéide. “Again we failed to put our opponents away when we were on top. We can’t keep going to the well all the time. One of these days it will dry up on us.
