Under-fire Hogan keen to finish the job

TIPPERARY hurling manager Ken Hogan wants to stay at the helm in the Premier County - despite crank phone calls and poison pen letters after the defeat by Galway in the All-Ireland hurling quarter-final.

That loss signalled the end of the two year terms of Hogan and his selectors, Jack Bergin and Colm Bonnar.

Tipperary GAA chiefs have since appointed a committee to consider the situation.
