Cats play a waiting game with Carey and Barry

BRIAN CODY remains unsure if or when DJ Carey or Peter Barry will return to the Kilkenny panel.

Carey has indicated that he will decide whether or not to sign up for a 17th championship season after the commencement of the local club championship.

Barry opted out of the panel for the National League, but is expected back in the fold before the championship which, for Kilkenny, begins with the Leinster Championship fixture against either Dublin or Westmeath on June 10.
